Pink States She Could Use Ticket Money of Concertgoer Protesting and Criticizing Circumcision to Buy Birkin Bag
While on stage, the 44-year-old singer noticed a man in the audience holding up his phone with a message directed at her. In a fan-recorded video, she can be heard asking, "What does that say?" Clearly unimpressed, she continued, "Oh wow, you're really trying to make a statement now, aren't you? Do you feel satisfied with yourself?" The man, who was seated very close to Pink, pointed his finger aggressively at her while saying something that couldn't be heard clearly.
Pink responded with a touch of humor, saying, "Are you going to be okay? You spent all this money to come here and do that? Come on, dude. I'm going to have to buy a Birkin bag with that ticket money." She jokingly referred to the expensive Hermès bag. Finally, Pink concluded, "Get that out of here," in reference to the man's message.
The man then turned around and displayed his phone's message to the audience, which read, "CIRCUMCISION CRUEL & UNUSUAL."
